How to Work Out How Much Power My Stand Will Need.
- 500w Sockets are equivalent to 2amps of power. These are what you would consider to be your low power items. Such as: PCs & laptops, TVs, Videos, Spotlights (up to 500w), phone chargers.
- 1000w Sockets are equivalent to 4amps of power. These sockets would be required for any kind of fridge or freezer and lighting (up to 1000w).
- 3000w Sockets are equivalent to 12 amps of power. These sockets would be required for coffee machines, machinery 2000w to 3000w and kettles – anything that would require heating up.
NOTE: LIGHTING CIRCUITS MAY NOT EXCEED 1000w
